IGNOU 2019: University Introduced New Course & Even to Reimburse Course Fee For These Candidates

Indira Gandhi National Open University has introduced a new course and reimburse fee for SC/ST students for 2019 onwards. Recently IGNOU launched a new course for the students willing to make their career in Fashion Designing. Also, the University has been all set reimburse the course fee for SC/ST Students from the year 2019 onwards.

Recently IGNOU extended the last date for the January session admission from 15 January to 30 January 2019. Now the candidates can fill the January admission 2019 form till 30 January for any Diploma, Degree and Certificate course. IGNOU Introduced New Certificate Course in Fashion Designing from 2019

Indira Gandhi National Open University has announced a new Certificate course in Fashion Designing from 2019 onwards. The all fresh Certification Programme in Fashion Designing has been designed to make students understand the basics of fashion Designing and work in the Indian apparel industry. Whereas the minimum duration of the course will be 6 months and the maximum will be of 2 years. Although the course fee for Fashion Designing has not been out yet. Also, there have been no minimum and maximum age bar for the students to get admission in Certificate Programme in Fashion Designing.

As of now, the newly launched Fashion Designing course will only be taught in the English language at IGNOU. Soon, IGNOU will launch the course in other languages as well. Students seeking admission in IGNOU’s newly introduced Certificate Programme in Fashion designing can apply online till 30 January 2019.

IGNOU to reimburse Course fee to SC/ST Candidates from 2019 onwards

Indira Gandhi National Open University had recently cancelled the fee concession for SC/ST category students from 2019. Now the good news is that IGNOU has announced to have an online portal to facilitate fee reimbursement policy for SC/ST students under SCSP/TSP scheme form 2019 onwards. Although as of now, the process will be followed by an offline method only till the time the portal gets started.

As of now, students can apply for the reimbursement at IGNOU centre till 20 February 2019 only, as no application will be entertained after the same. For more details, students are requested to check the official website.
