The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) is all set to commence its final term examination from June 1, 2018. India’s one of the biggest universities, IGNOU is soon to close down the application process of the students who are interested to appear in the final term examination in June.
The university had made the application forms available for the June term papers on its official website since March 2018 and had planned to finish the entire procedure within two months of the stipulated period.

April 30, 2018, is the last date to register for the final term examination of IGNOU as an extension of 10 days will be given to the students thereafter who will miss the deadline along with the late fee of Rs 1000. However, all those who have completed the application process and submitted the fee should not think that they are eligible to write the examination until and unless they have completed and submitted their assignments for the concerned subjects. Interested candidates are requested to submit their completed application forms online at www.exam.ignou.ac.in without missing out the deadline.
As told by S Raja Rao, Regional Director, IGNOU, six examination centres have been set up by the university including at Ideal College of Arts and Science, Kakinada, Dr. L Bulayya College, Vizag, SKBR College, Amalapuram, Government Arts College, Rajahmundry, SGCSR College, Rajam and MR PG College, Vizianagaram.

It is also pertinent to mention that the hall ticket or the admit card for the same June term final examination will be issued by Indra Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) online just 10 days before the scheduled examination date. By now, the regional centre of IGNOU has already begun sending SMSes to all those who have completed their application process and are eligible after submitting their assignments for the term-end examinations.
Apart from this, candidates who wish to sit the June term endpapers of IGNOU should first check their exam results of the previous term, which was scheduled in December 2017. Those who failed in the previous term end IGNOU examination will not be eligible to sit for this year’s June term endpaper. An exemption will be given to those whose results for the previous term end exams are still awaited.
