India Post Recruitment 2018 – Important Dates & Vacancies
India Post West Bengal released the official notification for the recruitment of MTS on 5th September 2018. The registration process and starting of online application started on 5th September 2018. The last date to fill the online application form is 4th October 2018. Candidates can pay the application fee offline till 8th October 2018. The last date to print the application form is 8th October 2018.
As per the official notification of India Post (Department of Post) West Bengal, there are total 242 vacancies in India Post. These vacancies are for the post of MTS (Multi Tasking Staff). These vacancies will be filled in the Divisions or Units of West Bengal Postal Circle. The vacancies might change as these are the tentative vacancies.
India Post Recruitment 2018 – Other Details
The candidates must have passed the class 10th from a recognized Board or University in order to apply for the India Post recruitment 2018. There will be a written test for the selection of candidates. The written test will be of 100 marks which include questions from the subjects – General Knowledge (25 questions of 25 marks), Mathematics (25 questions of 25 marks), English (25 questions of 25 marks) and Regional Language (25 questions of 25 marks).
The duration of the India Post Recruitment Exam for the West Bengal Circle will be 120 minutes. Candidates will have to attempt 100 questions in 120 minutes. Selection will be based on the Divisional Level Merit from the qualified candidates. As there will be three parts, the minimum qualifying marks in each part for the General Category candidates is 10 marks in each section, 9 marks for the OBC Candidates and 8 marks for the SC/ST category candidates.
The registration fee for the India Post recruitment 2018 is Rs.100. This fee is applicable to all the categories candidates. the examination fee for the male candidates of General and OBC Category is Rs 400. For the rest of the candidates and female candidates, there is no application fee.
