Indian Air Force Recruitment 2018 – Important Details
The date of advertisement of the notification is 24 March 2018 and the last date for receipt of application is within 30 days after the publication of Notification. There are total 145 vacancies in Indian Air Force. The vacancies are as follows – For the post of Laundryman, there are 3 vacancies, for the post of MTS there are 90 vacancies, for the post of HKS there are 19 vacancies. For the post of Hindi Typist, there is 1 post vacancy. For the post of Painter, there are 3 vacancies.
For the post of A/C mech, there are 2 vacancies in Indian Air Force. For the post of Inst Repairer, Draftsman Grade 2, C & SMW post, Tailor there is 1 vacancy each. For the post of Carpenter and Firemen, there are 2 vacancies each. For the post of Mess staff, there are 5 vacancies. For the post of LDC, there are 6 vacancies and for the post of cook, there are 8 vacancies.
Indian Air Force Recruitment 2018 – Age Limit, Relaxation & Mode of Selection
For the post of Fireman the age limt is 18-27 years. For other posts the age limit is 18-25 years. Candidates belonging to OBC category will be able to get 3 years age relaxation and candidates belonging to SC/ST category will be able to get 5 years age relaxation. Physically Handicapped candidates will get 10 years age relaxation.
Mode of Selection – Candidates will be selected on the basis of written test. The written test will be based on the minimum education qualification. The written test will have questions from the General Intelligence & Reasoning, Numerical ability, numerical aptitude, General English and General Awareness. Candidates who will clear the written test will appear for the skill/practical test.
