Indian Navy Recruitment 2018 – Important Dates
As per the official notification of the Indian Navy Recruitment 2018, the process of the filling of the application form will start from 15th September 2018. As of now, only the official notification is released and candidates can check the details in the notification. The closing or the last date for the online application is 5th October 2018. The Exam dates will be notified later on.
Indian Navy Recruitment 2018 – Eligibility and Vacancies
As per the official notification of Indian Navy Recruitment 2018 for the SSC Officer Post, the candidates will be selected for the Logistics Branch, IT Branch, and Law Branch. For the Logistics Branch and the Law Branch both male and female candidates can apply and for the IT branch, only male candidates can apply. All three branches come under the Short Service Commission.
As per the official notification of Indian Navy for SSC Officer post, there are total 37 vacancies. For the SSC Logistics Branch, there are 20 vacancies. For the SSC IT Branch, there are total 15 vacancies and 2 vacancies for the Law branch.
The male and female candidates born between 2nd July 1994 to 1st January 2000 can apply for the Logistics Branch. The male candidates born between 2nd July 1994 to 1st January 2000 can apply for the IT Branch and male/female candidates born between 2nd July 1992 to 1st July 1997 can apply for the Law Branch.

It is compulsory that the candidates applying for the post in Indian Navy must have completed their degree at the time of filling the application form. Candidates can only fill one application form.
