The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) Limited has launched a 12 day 10 destination religious tour package ‘Seven Jyotirling Yatra’ starting from Chandigarh. This twelve days, ten destinations train tour will travel to all the major religious destinations in South and West India at a reasonable cost per day.

Starting its tour of Seven Jyotirling Yatra, the train NZBD217 will depart from the railway station of Chandigarh on April 18 at 7 in the morning. This tour package has an economically designed itinerary catering to the people of Chandigarh and nearby areas.
The IRCTC has fixed the tour package cost of the Seven Jyotirling Yatra at Rs 11340 per head which comes out to Rs 1,000 per day, approximately. The religious tour package will cover 10 holy shrines including Omkareshwer, Somnath, Ujjain, Nageshwar, Ahmedabad, Trayambakeshwar, Dwarka, Grishneshwar, Bhimashankar and Shirdi.
The religious tour package of IRCTC’s Seven Jyotirling Yatra will offer facilities including journey reservation in sleeper class, non- AC accommodation in a hall or dormitories, 3 times vegetarian meals, travel guide, security and expenses of buses for sightseeing.
The train has 800 seats reserved for the pilgrims out of which 50 % have already been booked by the residents of Chandigarh. All those who are interested in going for a tour package can get it booked online on the official website of the IRCTC or by visiting the zonal office in Chandigarh’s Sector 34, personally.

Apart from this IRCTC has also planned a seven days religious tour package- Shiv, Shani and Sai Darshan that will start on April 19, 2018. The tour will begin on the Superfast Express-22456 covering places like Trimbakeshwar, Ellora, Shirdi, Grishneshwar and Panchwati at the cost of Rs 19,580 per head. For this package, the train will depart from Chandigarh railway station on April 19, 2018, at 7: 40 am and will include the facility of AC coaches for the journey, stay at 3-star hotels with AC rooms, three times meals (breakfast-lunch-dinner), tour guide, security and much more
