Jharkhand SSC Recruitment 2018: Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission has released an official notification for the Jharkhand Excise Constable Competitive Examination 2018. Jharkhand SSC Recruitment 2018 – All Details
As of now, Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission has released the official notification for the Excise Constable Exam and the procedure of filling the application form will begin next week. The Commission will start the process of filling the application form online on 26th December 2018. The last date to fill the application form is 9th February. Candidates are advised to fill the application form for the Excise Constable Exam on or before the last date.
The last date to complete the application form is 16th February 2019. The candidates of General and OBC category will have to pay Rs 800 as application fee. The candidates of SC/ST category will have to pay Rs 200 as application fee. The payment of examination fee can be made via Debit card, Credit card, Net Banking or via E-Challan.
According to the official notification released by the Jharkhand SSC, there are total 518 vacancies. These vacancies are for the post of Excise Constable. For the General Category candidates, there are 284 vacancies. For the ST category, there are 138 vacancies. For the SC category, there are 50 vacancies. For the EBC category, there are 22 vacancies. For the BC category, there are 44 vacancies.
The minimum age limit to apply for the post is 18 years while the maximum age limit is 25 years. There is also age relaxation for the SC/ST category and EBC/BC category. The upper age limit for the SC/ST category candidates is 30 years and for the EBC/BC category candidates, the maximum age limit is 28 years. The candidates selected for the posts will get a pay scale of Rs 5200 to Rs 20200.
The minimum education qualifications required for the post is Class 10th examination from a recognised board. The candidates will be selected for the post on the basis of Written Test, PET and Medical test.
