Diwali is around the corner and all major mobile operators are offering deals and discounts to their customers. Ahead of the festival season, all the major service providers such as Bharti Airtel, Idea Cellular, Vodafone India, and the latest entry in the arena- Reliance Jio, have rolled out several new offers for their clients. The special offers rolled out by these service providers include data packages and other freebies for luring the new customers while offering benefits to the existing customers as well.
Airtel, Idea, Vodafone and Jio roll out exciting offers
Amid the festive season, top network service providers like Airtel, Vodafone, Idea and Reliance Jio have rolled out numerous offers for their clients. The offers that have been rolled out by the service providers are not only for the existing clients but for the new customers as well. The offers include special data packages, calling offers and freebies. All the major competitors are trying their level best to woo the consumers in all segments ahead of Dussehra and Diwali celebrations.
More data and free calling offers this festive season
It has been reported that more and more customers have started using mobile data for completing their shopping and for fulfilling their other requirements such as listening music, watching videos, reading newspapers and books on their smartphones or tabs.
Banking on the increasing popularity of digital modes of transaction, entertainment and others, the telecom players have started offering special data packages to their customers so that they can utilise more data according to their requirement and as a result, the service operator can get increased average revenue per customer. Most of these telecom companies are offering attractive offers for the consumers, especially during the festive season.
Different offers by the mobile operators
It has been reported that Airtel is offering 60 GB data to its customers which can be used for a period of 6 months. This offer is for the postpaid users and commenced from the month of September itself.
On a similar path, Vodafone India is offering free movie tickets as well as food vouchers to its customers. The offers can be availed by the Vodafone customers by using any of Vodafone’s digital platforms during Navratri. This offer can be utilised in Gujarat.
Similarly, Idea is pushing its infotainment apps whereas the latest player in the market, Reliance Jio, has rolled out 50 per cent off on its hotspot routers – JioFi. Reliance Jio’s wifi – JioFi is available at half the price for a limited period of 10 days, from September 20 to September 30.
