Kapil Sharma has been in the headlines of all news channels for the downfall of his show ‘The Kapil Sharma Show. What started as a fight between Kapil Sharma and Sunil Grover might end something like this that Sony TV ends the contract with Kapil Sharma and launches a new comedy show with Sunil Grover.
This seems to be strange but might turn out into reality quite soon.
Kapil Sharma’s Contract with Sony TV
Kapil Sharma had a 1-year contract with Sony TV which is due for renewal on 23rd April 2017. So, technically, the date is quite near. According to India Today, Kapil Sharma has asked for a 50% increment in the contract price despite all that is going on.
The contract for a complete year was for a whooping amount of Rs. 107 Crore.
Sony TV might have made a lot of money from The Kapil Sharma show throughout the year but are concerned about the bad name being brought to the channel by Kapil Sharma’s behaviour.
As published in DNA India, Sony Tv is upset by the bad publicity Kapil Sharma has brough on the table for his show. So, they want to end it once and for all.
Sony Tv New Show for Sunil Grover
Sony TV has tried its best to get Sunil Grover back on The Kapil Sharma show, but he seems not to be returning. In such a situation, being a business, Sony Tv is planning something bigger. As published by DNA India, Sony TV is thinking about starting a new comedy show with Sunil Grover by ditching Kapil Sharma.
The Character Rinku Bhabhi & Dr. Mashoor Gulati
It may be noted that the characters of Rinku Bhabhi and Dr. Mashoor Gulati are the property of Sony TV. Sunil Grover alo does not have a right on these characters. A fact is that Sony Tv gets a share out of Sunil’s performance whenever he enacts Rinku Bhabhi or Dr. Mashoor Gulati anywhere in a show.
So now, Sony Tv is planning to start a new show with these characters and they might rope in Sunil Grover for the show by ditching Kapil Sharma.
