Maruti Suzuki is all set to reduce the waiting period of Baleno and the Vitara Brezza. According to report, the waiting period of the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza and Maruti Suzuki Baleno is expected to go down as Maruti Suzuki India Limited has started a second shift at its Gujarat plant.
The move has resulted in the increased production of hot hatchback Maruti Suzuki Baleno which will further bring some relief to the other Maruti Suzuki plants including the Manesar and Gurgaon plant. With Maruti Suzuki Baleno being manufactured in Gujrat, the Manesar and Gurgaon plant can be used to boost the production of company’s sub-compact SUV Vitara Brezza.
Current waiting period of Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza and Baleno
Both Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza as well as the hot hatchback Maruti Suzuki Baleno, is in the list of the best-sellers from the Maruti Suzuki stable. Since the launch of both these hot-sellers, the waiting time for both the cars has not come down quickly.
With the company adding up a second shift at its Gujrat plant, there are reports that suggest that the waiting period of these two models is expected to come down considerably. The company has been manufacturing 10,000 units of the Baleno at its Hansalpur plant in Gujarat, and the addition of the second shift will increase the production number while reducing the waiting period significantly. The Currently the waiting period has been reported to 12 weeks.
The waiting period of the vehicles has dropped in the recent past and currently, the waiting period has been reported to be 12 weeks.
Increase in production of Maruti Suzuki Baleno and Vitara Breeza
The company, in one of its statement, has stated that the demand of Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza doesn’t seem to die down any time soon.
For the current fiscal year, the manufacturing plant in Gujrat will be manufacturing 1.5 lakh units of the Baleno. Though the increase in production will happen gradually, yet the added shift at the Gujarat plant will ease the load on Maruti’s plants in Gurgaon and Manesar.
With the decrease in the waiting period of Maruti Suzuki Baleno and the compact-SUV Vitara Brezza, the sales figures are expected to escalate for both the vehicles.
