Mercedes Benz GLC AMG 43 Coupé Launched in India | Check Features and Price

Mercedes-Benz has launched its latest AMG GLC 43 Coupe in India. Mercedes-Benz’s latest luxury car the AMG GLC 43 Coupe is priced at Rs 74.80 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). With an aim to strengthen its performance oriented AMG brand, India’s leading luxury carmaker Mercedes-Benz rolled out in the Indian market its latest performance-SUV, the new Mercedes-AMG GLC 43 Coupé.

AMG GLC 43 Coupe, the latest luxury car by Mercedes-Benz has been priced at Rs 74.80 lakh and is based on its SUV GLC platform. Despite being based on the same platform Mercedes-Benz -AMG GLC 43 Coupe gets more power on the inside but appears sleeker from outside. With AMG GLC 43 Coupe’s launch, this is  Mercedes-Benz’s third AMG model launched this year in India.

The launch of AMG GLC 43 Coupe also marked the celebration of 50 years of AMG technology. Mercedes-Benz has already launched the G63 Edition 463 and GLS 63 AMGs last month. Mercedes-Benz has already introduced eight products in India this year with the latest Mercedes-Benz -AMG GLC 43 Coupe making way to the Indian market out of its stable.

AMG GLC 43 Coupe by Mercedes-Benz will be instrumental 

It was reported that the Mercedes-AMG GLC 43 4MATIC Coupé was introduced in India to commemorate the international success of Mercedes-AMG. The SUV Coupe – Mercedes-AMG GLC 43 4MATIC Coupé, is going to be a key addition to company’s 43 AMG line. The AMG GLC 43 Coupe will be instrumental in popularizing the 43 AMG range in India. It is believed that AMG GLC 43 Coupe will be able to attract a new customer base in India. The company believes that the AMG GLC 43 Coupe will further strengthen their strong AMG portfolio in the performance segment.

Features of Mercedes-Benz AMG GLC 43 Coupe 

Loaded with a 3.0-litre V6 bi-turbo engine, the GCL 43 4MATIC Coupé churns out 362 bhp power. The new car is paired with a 9G-Tronic automatic transmission unit for a smooth drive. The Mercedes-Benz AMG GLC 43 touches the 0-100 kmph sprint in just 4.8 seconds. This is not all the AMG GLC 43 Coupe can reach a top speed of 250 kmph which is electronically limited.

Growth of Mercedes-Benz in India

It is notable that the company sold 70,000 units of AMG brand cars in 2015. A year later in 2106, sales of Mercedes-Benz grew by 44 per cent. The company claimed that it delivered almost 100,000 vehicles in India. Currently, Mercedes-Benz has five AMG performance centres at Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore and Hyderabad. The company has plans to add two new AMG performance centres at Chennai and Kochi to strengthen its reach and productivity.
