NEET 2018: MCC, the Medical Counselling Committee has released an official notice regarding the NEET refund process for the Counselling of NEET UG 2018. The candidates can check the official notification for more details regarding the same. The MCC will soon start the refund process of the fee which was paid by the applicants. Here are the complete details.
NEET 2018 Refund Process
As per the official notice released by the MCC, the candidates will get the refund in the same account from where the registration for the NEET UG Counselling has been done. The process of the refund was delayed because of the extension in the BDS counselling schedule. The BDS Counselling schedule was extended to 15th September and that is why the refund process delayed.
The refund process is only available to the candidates who don’t want a seat after the 2nd round of counselling. The candidates will have to report to the college and must inform the higher authorities of the college that he/she don’t want the admission in the college.
The refund process for the NEET 2018 will be completed by the 15th of October. The MCC will also upload the details and name of the candidates whom the refund issued on the official website. The official website is mcc.nic.in.
In the official notice, it is also written that in any case of finance related queries, candidates can contact and the email id financemcc2018@gmail.com or on toll-free number 18001027637. After calling on this number press the no 4.
The counselling of the NEET UG 2018 was started on June 13th and ended in the second week of September. The counselling was done for around 25000 BDS seats and 65000 MBBS seats. All the seats were allotted according to the merit. There were 85% state quota seats and 15% were for the All India Quota seats. The counselling process was completely online.
NEET 2019 Application Process
From next year, the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test will be conducted by National Testing Agency. The online application process for the exam will begin from 1st November 2018 and the last date for the submission of application form is 30th November. The admit cards for NEET 2019 will be available from 15th April 2019 and the exam will be conducted on 5th May 2019.
