The government of India is planning to recruit a Top official candidate without any UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) exam from 2018 onwards. Candidates, who failed to clear the UPSC exam 2018 can now apply for the new posts without the rank. The Government has rolled the notification for the same that the qualified candidates can apply for the post without holding a UPSC rank from 2018 onwards.

Top Post in Government Job without clearing UPSC from 2018

Although Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) use to conduct the toughest exam for the selection procedure od the Top officials in the Government Departments. But as per the new notification, Government has invited applications from the talented and motivated Indians willing to contribute towards the building of the Nation as a Joint Secretary post for the year 2018.

All the candidates, who have been working in State Government, UT Administration, Central or State PSUs, Autonomous Bodies are eligible for the post as per Union Public Service Commission. Also, the people working with Private Sector, MNCs can also apply for the same in the year 2018. Minimum Qualification of the post for the year 2018 must be Graduate or equivalent and he/ she must be 40 years of age as of 1st July 2018. Even the applicant must have experience of 15 years in the desired field.

As far as the job description of the Joint Secretary is concerned, he/she has to report to Additional Secretary or Secretary and will lead policy making along with the implementation of various programmes and schemes.

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) 2018 has also received a huge number of applications for various posts in 2018. Although for those, who are qualified enough but failed getting selected in the UPSC exam 2018 can apply for the post of Joint Secretary for the year 2018. As per the notification, it will be a contract based job for 3-years and it will be extended to 5-year after that. Whereas the Salary will be in between Rs. 1,44,200- Rs. 2,18,200 + additional benefits.
