Nokia 5, priced at Rs 12499 begins its sale in India on the day of Independence day. The company had already started the pre-orders of the budget smartphone Nokia 5 handset for over a month, which has finally hit the stores for retail across India.
The budget smartphone, Nokia 5 is only available at offline retail stores in over 10 tier-I and II cities across India including Delhi- NCR, Chennai, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Lucknow, Chandigarh, Indore, Pune, Kolkata and Calicut. However, the smartphone company Nokia is planning on to spread retailing of Nokia 5 in more cities of India.

Talking about the specifications of Nokia 5 budget smartphone, its power packed handset is sleek yet sturdy with 149.7×72.5×8.05mm measurements. The phone is designed with a seamless aluminium 6000 series body, with smooth rounded edges giving it a perfect ensemble of a gadget with great design, advanced features and cool price. The handset of Nokia 5 sports a 13-megapixel camera on the back with a flashlight and an 8-megapixel sensor sits on the rear with a fingerprint scanner right above the home button. With a 5.2-inch HD (720×1280 pixel) display, Nokia 5 is powered by 2GB of RAM along with 16GB of internal storage, which can further be expanded up to 128GB via micro SD card. Nokia 5 runs on latest Android 7.1.1 Nougat and is supported by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 SoC. It houses a non-removable battery of houses a 3000mAh.
