NTPC Recruitment 2018: Last month, NTPC (National Thermal Power Corporation) started the online application process regarding the recruitment of Diploma Engineers in various headquarters. The online application process for the application started on 18th April and it is still on. NTPC Recruitment 2018 – Vacancy Details (Trade Wise)
There are total 362 post vacancies for the post of diploma engineer in NTPC. These vacancies are for the various NTPC headquarters. For the Patna Headquarter, there are total 83 posts. (Mechanical – 29, Electrical – 23, C&I – 16 and Mining -15). For the Lucknow headquarter, there are 80 posts (Mechanical – 36, Electrical – 23, C&I – 21 and Mining -0).
For the Hyderabad Headquarter, there are 25 posts (Mechanical – 11, Electrical – 07, C&I – 07 and Mining -0). For the Mumbai Headquarter, there are total 50 posts (Mechanical – 23, Electrical – 16, C&I – 11 and Mining -0). For the Raipur headquarter, there are total 124 posts (Mechanical – 46, Electrical – 36, C&I – 22 and Mining -20).
NTPC Recruitment 2018 – Important Details
Last Date – The online application process for the post of Diploma Engineer in NTPC started on 18th April. The last date for the application is 9th May. All candidates are advised to fill the application form before the last date. NTPC will conduct the online exam for the post of diploma engineer in the month of July and the technical test will be conducted in the 3rd or 4th week of August.
Application Fee – The application fee is Rs.300 for all candidates belonging to General Category and OBC Category. There is no application fee for the candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD/Ex-Serviceman. Candidates can pay the application fee via Pay in Slip or Challan.
Qualification, Mode of Selection & Pay Scale – The minimum education qualification for the post of Diploma Engineer in NTPC is Diploma in engineering in the relevant branch with 70% marks. Candidates will be selected on the basis of online aptitude test and online technical test. Selected candidates will get a pay scale of Rs.15,500 per month.
