ONGC GATE Recruitment 2018: ONGC (Oil and Natural Gas Corporation) has released an official notification regarding the recruitment of candidates for the post of Class-I executives (At E-1 level) in the engineering and Geo-Science on the basis of GATE 2018 scores. ONGC GATE Recruitment 2018 – Important Dates
The online application process for the ONGC recruitment through GATE 2018 scores has started from 16th April on the official website. The online application window is now open and candidates can now apply online. The last date to apply online is 3rd May 2018 (up to 5:30 pm). The tentative dates for the interview call letters is 10th may – 22nd May 2018. The interviews will start from 28th May onwards (tentative dates).
ONGC GATE Recruitment 2018 – Application Fee & Vacancies
The application fee or the registration fee is Rs.299.20 for candidates belonging to the General category and OBC category. There is no application fee for candidates belonging to the SC, ST and PWD Category. This registration fee is non-refundable and can be deposited at any branch of SBI through the challan. The Bank Challan can be downloaded from the website www.ongcindia.com.
Candidates who will apply for the post in ONGC will have to pay Rs.60 as bank charges and Rs.10.80 as GST and hence the total fee will be Rs.370. There are total 1032 vacancies in ONGC. Candidates can check the vacancy details in the official notification of ONGC. The vacancies are divided as category wise.
ONGC GATE Recruitment 2018 – Selection Process
All the candidates who want to apply for the Graduate Trainees at E-1 level in Engineering & Geo-Sciences posts through GATE-2018 should have appeared in the GATE 2018 exam. The score of GATE 2018 exam in the mentioned subject against the posts of ONGC will be needed for the shortlisting of the candidates. The first merit list will be according to the parameters:
Weightage of GATE 2018 exam – 60 marks
Interview – 15 marks
Qualification – 25 marks
