Recently, Paytm has acquired the two new apps that are Nearbuy and Little to merge it into its app. The acquisition of these two apps is a step ahead towards the future plans of Paytm. This July only Paytm expanded its partnership with the ticketing platforms and now the news has come that it is joining hands with Little and Nearbuy.
Paytm Merges with Nearbuy & Little

Recently, the news popped up stating that Paytm has merged with Nearbuy and Little apps. Looking into the history of the Nearbuy app, the application was initially formed as SoSasta in 2011 that later was acquired by Groupon Inc. that later was again branded as Nearbuy in the year of 2015. Coming to the Little app, the founders of the app founded this app in 2015. After planning to begin with the support of Paytm the investment of 50 million USD was taken from Paytm.
The merger between the Nearbuy, Little, and Paytm was an initiation towards fulfilling the commitment of Paytm to support the small as well as large retailers. Paytm has announced earlier that they would be helping every small and large retailer to embrace the new mobile commerce and payment modes. With the help of this merger, the customers will be able to reach the exciting deals as well as discount offers. Encouraging the merger Paytm will benefit graciously by increasing the pool of merchant partnership. Paytm has reached to the value of 9 billion dollars and is working day and night to increase its value further.
Paytm has also been working to set a new interface within the app availing the messaging services like Whatsapp. For now, the app has the digital wallet facilities, bill payment features, peer-peer payments, flight ticket bookings, booking shows, loans, insurance, and challans. With the recent addition of Little and Nearbuy with Paytm, all the customers will also be able to pay for the daily deals and discounts offered by these platforms.
