POWERGRID Recruitment 2019: POWERGRID has released a new notification regarding the recruitment of candidates for the post of Executive Trainee via GATE 2019 exam. This new notification is in the continuation of the notification which was released last year. In the new notification, POWERGRID has mentioned the detail of the vacancies and the starting date of application form filling. The official notification was released on 25th January 2019 on the official website.
POWERGRID Recruitment 2019 Via GATE Exam – Starting Date & Vacancies
As per the notification released by POWERGRID, the procedure of filling the application form for the post of Executive Trainee will begin from 30th January 2019. The candidates will have to register themselves on the official website www.powergridindia.com. During the registration process, the candidates applying for the post will also have to enter the details of the GATE 2019 registration. The process of filling the application form will close on 20th February 2019.
According to the official notification of POWERGRID, there are total 50 vacancies for the post of Executive Trainee Post. These vacancies are for the post of Executive Trainee in Electrical, ET in Electronics and ET in Civil. For the post of ET in Electrical, there are total 33 vacancies (24 for UR, 1 for OBC, 4 for SC and 4 for ST).
For the post of ET Electronics, there are total 7 vacancies (6 for UR candidates, and 1 for OBC). Further, for the post of ET in Civil, there are total 10 vacancies. These vacancies are 4 for UR category candidates, 4 for OBC category, 1 for SC and 1 for ST.
POWERGRID Recruitment 2019 Via GATE Exam – Other Details
The application fee for filling the application form for the POWERGRID Recruitment 2019 via GATE Exam 2019 is Rs 500 for the OBC and General Category candidates. Rest all other category candidates are exempted from paying the application fee. The candidates can pay application fee via online mode only. The application process will be incomplete without the payment of fee.
The payment of application fee is non-refundable. The candidates are advised to read all the details carefully before filling the application form online on the official website.
