PSEB Recruitment 2018: Punjab School Education Board Mohali (PSEB) has released an official notification and invited online applications from candidates for the post of Clerk cum Data Entry Operator. The candidates who are interrested in these posts can check the official notification and if they are eligible for the post then they can fill their application form. PSEB Recruitment 2018 For Clerk Cum DEO
The Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) released the official notification for the DEO cum Clerk post in November first week. The procedure of application form filling for the PSEB Recruitment 2018 started on 10th November 2018. The candidates can fill the application form till 27th November 2018. Before applying online, the candidates are requested to check the eligibility criteria in the notification. As per the recent update, the candidates can apply for the posts from 13th November onwards.
The PSEB (Punjab School Education Board) will release the admit card and exam dates later on on the official website. Candidates of General and OBC category will have to pay Rs 1000 as application fee while SC/ST category candidates will have to pay Rs 500 as application fee. The last date to pay the fee is 27th November and the mode of payment is online and E-Challan.
As per the official notification released by PSEB (Punjab School Education Board) for the recruitment of clerk cum DEO, there are total 50 vacancies. These vacancies are for the post of Clerk cum Data Entry Operator. The selected candidates will get an attractive pay scale of Rs 10300 – Rs 34800.
The candidates will be selected for the post of Clerk cum DEO on the basis of the performance in the objective test. The objective test will be of 100 marks and will have 5 sections. The first section in the test will be of General Awareness and it will be of 20 marks. The Pass marks for this section are 8. Similarly, Mental Aptitude, Computer Proficiency, Mathematical Ability is also of 20 marks each and pass parks are 8 each.
The fifth section is the Language Proficiency Test which will be of Punjabi and English Language. Total marks for Punjabi are 10 and for English 10 marks. Candidates will have to score 8 marks for passing (4 each). As said above, the total marks are 100 and out of these marks, candidates will have to score total 40 marks for passing. After that the Skill Test and Interview will be conducted.
