Recently in Amritsar, the SGPC task force clashed with the Jathedars supporters that were appointed by the “Sarbat Khalsa” inside the Golden temple Complex on Thursday. This clash happened when the SGPC task force stopped Johar Singh who is the president of Management Committee of Gurudwara Ghallughara Sahib in Gurdaspur.
Clashes Between SGPC and Jathedars Followers Inside Golden Temple Complex, Amritsar
The clashes occurred inside the Golden Temple complex between SGPC task force and Jathedars followers when they stopped Johar Singh from appearing before ‘Sarbat Khalsa’. Johar Singh is the president of the renowned Gurudwara in Gurdaspur, Gurudwara Ghallughara Sahib. In the clashes on Thursday at Amritsar’s Golden Temple Complex, three people were injured badly. According to the sources, Johar Singh was there to appear before Sarbat Khalsa appointed Jathedars after which he went to Akal Takht to pay his obeisance when he was stopped by the SGPC task force. Also, he was thrown out of the Golden Temple Complex once he rejected to leave the Kirtan.
Golden Temple is one of the most prestigious place in Amritsar that has extreme religious value for folks and the accounts of clashes inside the Golden Temple Complex is a big disappointment. Although the Police intervened to pacify both the groups, still 3 people got injured in the clashes. The clashes went so intense that the SGPC employees Vijay Singh and Amrik Singh were injured and the Jathedars Supporters Balwant Singh Gopala’s Turban fell and clothes were torn of Jarnail Singh Sak Hira.
Johar Singh, The President of Gurudwara Ghallughara Guilty for Gurudwara’s Poor Condition
Johar Singh, the president of Gurudwara Ghallughara Sahib was held guilty for poor condition and management of the Gurudwara by Sarbat Khalsa appointed the acting Jathedar of Akal Takhat, Dhian Singh Man, Jathedra of Takhat Kesgarh Sahib Amrik Singh and Jathedar of Takhat Damdama Sahib Baljit Singh Daduwal along with the two other Jathedars on 4th September and was moved to appear before them on 12th October.
This event of Clashes in the Golden Temple Complex, Amritsar had become a great disappointment. In these clashes, 3 people were injured.
