Ustad Pyare Lal Wadali of Wadali Brothers Dies at the Age of 75 in Amritsar | It’s Really Sad News

He was 75 year old and died due to Cardiac Arrest this morning

Ustad Pyare Lal Wadali of Wadali brothers passed away in Amritsar on Friday morning. Famous Sufi singer, Pyarelal Wadali was the younger brother of Puran Chand Wadali & both were well-known in the music industry as Wadali brothers. He was just 75 & took his last breath on Friday morning in Amritsar. For sure the sudden demise of the departed soul has left the music industry in shock.

In 2005, Wadali Brothers were awarded the prestigious Padma Shri Award for their contribution towards the music industry. Ustad Pyarelal Wadali started his singing career along with Puran Chand Wadali at very young age & won millions of hearts with their voice in Punjabi as well as the Hindi language.

Pyare Lal Wadali (Sufi Singer) took his last breath in Amritsar (Punjab)

Pyarelal Wadali took his last breath in Amritsar today morning. On Thursday itself, he was admitted to Fortis Escort Hospital in Amritsar due to his sudden illness. And on Friday morning the Sufi singer left the World due to Cardiac arrest. And the sad news has been confirmed by the family members only that Ustad Pyarelal Wadali is no more with us.

Pyare Lal Wadali, who hails from Amritsar started his musical journey by singing outside their village Harballaha Temple, Jalandhar in the year 1975. And slowly-steadily, the duo hit the Bollywood industry in the year 2003. Puranchand Wadali has been trained by masters like Pandit Durga Das & Ustad Bade Ghulam Ali Khan of Patiala Gharana. Whereas Pyarelal Wadali took his training of music from his elder brother, whom he used to consider as his Guru. Both were adapted to different genres of music like- ghazals, kaafian & bhajans.

And here’s the contribution of Wadali Brothers to the music industry

Wadali brothers started their journey of music with bhaajans & then moved to Bollywood as well. Their most amazing songs are- Tu mane ya na, ve sone deya kangana, Rabb da deedar & many more. Whereas they entered Bollywood in 2003 with Pinjar movie and then in 2004 Farid movie song Tum idhr dekh lo. And recently both voiced aye rangrez mere (Tanu Weds Manu) & Mausam movie song ik tu hi. Along with this, the duo has carried the legacy of famous saint Poets like Surdas, Bulle shah, Amir Khusaro & many more.

Although the death of Ustad Pyarelal Wadali has come like a heartbreaking news but may his soul rest in peace. And we also pray to god to provide courage to the family in this hard situation.
