Railway Recruitment 2018-19: The Railway Recruitment Cell of Northern Railway has released an official notification on the official website regarding the post of Apprentice. The RRC has also invited applications for the same from the eligible candidates. The procedure of application will begin next week. Railway Recruitment 2018-19 – Last Date & Application Fee
Last Date: The Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC) will open the link to fill the application form for the post of Apprentice in Northern Railway on 31st December 2018. The candidates can fill the application form on or after 31st December. The last and final date for the submission of application form is 31st January 2019 till 1200 Hrs. The expected date for the display of Merit is between 15th February 2019 to 15th March 2019.
Application Fee: The application fee for the RRC Recruitment 2018-19 is Rs 100 for the General and OBC category candidates. The SC/ST/PH category candidates are exempted from paying the application fee. There is no application for the female candidates. The application fee can be paid via online payment gateway (credit card, debit card or via net banking). The application fee non-refundable.
Railway Recruitment 2018-19 – Other Important Details
According to the official notification released by the Railway Recruitment Cell of Northern Railways, there are total 1092 vacancies. All these vacancies are for the post of Apprentice in the various division. The details regarding category wise and division wise vacancy is available in the official notification. The selection of candidates will be on the basis of Merit List/Written Examination.
The minimum age limit to apply for the post of apprentice in Northern Railway is 15 years and the maximum age limit is 24 years. The maximum age limit for the SC/ST category candidates is 29 years while for the OBC category candidates, the maximum age limit is 27 years. The required educational qualifications are 10th class and ITI certification in the relevant trade. The candidates are advised that they should read the notification carefully before applying.
