Renault is going to launch its most-awaited four wheeler the Renault Captur on November 6 in India. As per the report, French automobile manufacturer, Renault, is all set to launch its much-awaited SUV the Renault Captur in India in the first week of next month.

Renault Captur to be Launched on November 6

As per the report, Renault’s premium SUV, the Renault Captur that was unveiled recently, is all set to be launched in India in the second week of November. The report also mentions the date that has been revealed by the company for launching the Renault Captur. The premium SUV by Renault, the Renault Captur is slated to be launched on November 6 in India.

After Renault Captur’s unveiling that was done in India by the French automobile manufacturer last month, it also commenced the bookings of the premium SUV in late September. Built on the successful B0 platform, with the crossover DNA, the Renault Captur will carry best-in-class ground clearance.

Features of the new Renault Captur SUV

The five-seater SUV, Renault Captur will sport a V-shaped chrome grille. The Captur will also get C-shaped LED daytime running lights that have been merged with LED headlamps at the front. The premium SUV from Renault will also get LED indicators.

The new Renault Captur gets white and gold interiors that add to the appearance of the premium SUV. AC vents of the new Renault Captur will come with chrome touch besides the stylish bezel with a golden finish.

The Renault Captur will get 6-way adjustable leather seats. It will also get a feature enhanced lumbar along with lateral support. The premium SUV will come with a seven-inch display with new generation Integrated Intelligent ULC 3.0 multimedia navigation system. Rear AC vents.

In terms of safety, the new Renault Captur will come with side airbags, dual airbags, ABS (Antilock-Braking System) with EBD (Electronic Brake Distribution) & Brake Assist. For comfortable all-terrain drive, The Renault Captur will also get Hill Start Assist and ESC (Electronic Stability Control)

Under the hood of the Renault Captur

The Renault Captur will be launched with both petrol and diesel engines. While the petrol variant will carry a 16 valves 4 cylinder 1.5L H4K petrol engine, the diesel version is reported to be powered by the 1.5L K9K diesel engine. Both petrol and diesel powertrains will get different manual transmission units.

While the petrol engine will come mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox, a 6-speed manual gearbox will come mated to the diesel engine. As per the report, the petrol unit will produce 106 PS at 5,600 rpm and 142 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm while the diesel engine will churn out a max power of 110 PS at 4,000 rpm and peak torque of 240 Nm at 1,750 rpm.
