Royal Enfield’s much anticipated bike – Thunderbird 350X, has been recently spied in India at one of the company dealerships ahead of the two-wheeler’s official launch. While the spied images of the Royal Enfield 500X is doing rounds on the digital platform, here is all the information about the smaller sibling of the bike that has been also been spied recently in India.

The Royal Enfield Thunderbird range in the bike maker’s product lineup in India is a popular and one of the consistent selling motorcycles from the company. According to the report, the bike maker is all set to give its offering in the Enfield line up and it is also going to offer major upgrades to its consumers in the coming year.

The company is gearing up to launch the special edition of Royal Enfield Thunderbird 350X in 2018 and the bike has been spied lately in one of the company dealerships. Another bike that has been reportedly spied recently is the Thunderbird 500X. Both the bikes from Royal Enfield get vibrant cosmetic upgrades which are targeted to attract the younger consumer base.

While the spied images of the special edition Thunderbird 500X are already going viral on the digital platform, the spied images of the Thunderbird 350X reveal that the smaller sibling of the 500X also gets some cosmetic upgrades.

As per the report, the Royal Enfield Thunderbird 350X is slated for launch in 2018. The latest spy images of the new series bike reveal that the much-anticipated motorcycle gets new colour scheme. What adds to the looks of the new bike are appealing features such as the blacked out engine and set of new alloy wheels, which are standard in the bike and come as part of the package. Though the new models retain the retro touch, yet it is expected to attract a younger set of customers.

Features, colours and price of the spied Royal Enfield Thunderbird 350X

The spied images reveal that the Royal Enfield Thunderbird 350X gets a white fuel tank in addition to a black painted frame and suspension. The engine, as well as the crankcase of the bike has also been given the black treatment. It is expected that the new bike will get colourful shades including red, blue and yellow.

The Thunderbird 350X will come equipped with a shorter handlebar, new blacked out headlamp with LED DRL (daytime running lights). A single seat has been added to the bike in place of split seats.

The Thunderbird 350X will get the existing 350cc powertrain that has been tuned to produce 19.8 bhp and 28 Nm of peak torque at at 5250 rpm and 4000 rpm respectively. The engine comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox and for better safety, it gets disc brake setup in both wheels.

The Royal Enfield Thunderbird 350X is likely to be priced higher than the existing Thunderbird 350. The bike maker is all set to launch the bike soon in India but it is expected that it will make the first appearance at the upcoming 2018 Auto Expo.
