Last month the online application process for the RRB Group D post starts. Under the Railway Group D Recruitment 2018, RRB will fill a total of 62907 vacancies for the Group D. The Railway Recruitment Board extended the last date to apply online in the starting of the month of March. Now all interested candidates can apply for all Group D posts in Railway till 31st March. RRB Group D Recruitment 2018, 62907 Vacancies to be Filled
RRB will fill a total of 62,907 posts under the RRB Group D recruitment. There are vacancies for the post of Helper, Hospital Attendant, Assistant Pointsman, Track Maintainer, Gateman, Sweeper, Portar and Hamal. These are Group D posts in Railway. Candidates will be selected on the basis of written exam followed by the physical test.
The Online application process for the RRB Group D started on 10 Feb and the last date is 31st March. The exam will be held in the month of April/May 2018. Selected candidates will get a pay scale of Rs.18000 per month. The minimum education qualification is 10th pass from a recognised board/12th pass from a recognized board/ Graduate Degree from a recognized university or a diploma. Candidates who are waiting for the final result of the needed qualification are not eligible to apply.
RRB Group D Recruitment 2018 | Application Fee, Age Limit & Exam Stages
Candidates belonging to the General Category and OBC category will have to pay Rs.500 as application fee for the application of RRB Group D posts. For all female candidates, the application fee is Rs.250. Applicants belonging to SC/ST/PH/EX-SM category, the application fee is Rs.250. Also, if you want a correction in the application form then you will have to pay Rs.100 as correction charge. The application fee can be paid via credit card, debit card or via net banking,
The minimum age limit is 18 years and the maximum age limit is 33 years for General category, 36 years for OBC category candidate and 38 years for SC/ST category candidates. Stages of Exam for the RRB Group D Recruitment 2018 includes – Computer Based Test, Physical Efficiency test and Document verification. For each wrong question, there will be negative marking. 1/3 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer.
