RRB Recruitment 2018: The Railway Recruitment Control Board of East Central Railway has released an official notification regarding the recruitment of candidates for the post of Apprentices. The candidates who want to fill the application form for the posts of Apprentice can check the detailed notification on the official website and if the candidates are eligible then they can apply online for the same. The Railway Recruitment Cell of East Central Railway has started the procedure of filling the application form for the post of Apprentices on 11 December. The interested candidates who want to fill the application form for the Apprentice posts in Railway can do the same now. The last date as per the official notification to fill the application form is 10th January 2019. So in between 11th December 2018 and 10th January 2019, candidates can fill the application form.
There is Rs 100 application fee for the exam. Only candidates of General Category and OBC category have to pay the application fee of Rs 100. Rest all other category candidates including the women candidates, there is no application fee. Candidates can pay the examination fee via Credit Card, Debit Card or via Net Banking.
As on December 11, 2018, the minimum age limit to apply for the post of Apprentices in East Central Railway is 15 years and the maximum age limit is 24 years. The upper age limit relaxation for the SC/St category candidates is 5 years while for the OBC category candidates it is 3 years. The PWD category candidates will get 10 years age relaxation.
The candidates will be selected on the basis of merit list prepared in all respect of candidates who will apply for the post. The merit list of the candidates will be prepared taking the average marks obtained by the candidates in the matriculation and ITI. In any case of candidates having the same marks, the candidates with older age will be preferred, In the case of the same date of birth, the candidates who passed the matriculation exam first will be considered.
As per the official notification released by the Railway Recruitment Board/Cell of East Central Railway, there are total 2234 vacancies. All these vacancies are for the post of Apprentice. For the Danapur Division, there are 702 vacancies. For the Dhanbad Division, there are 161 vacancies. For the Mughalsarai Division, there are 932 vacancies. For the Samastipur Division, there are 82 vacancies. For the Plant Depot/Mughalsarai Division, there are 137 vacancies. For the Mechanical Workshop/Samastipur, there are 110 vacancies and for the Carriage Repair Workshop/Harraut Division, there are 110 vacancies.
