RRB Recruitment 2018: Railway Recruitment Board released the official notification for various posts in Konkan Railways on 22nd May 2018. The online application for various posts also started on the same date. RRB Konkan Railways released the official notification regarding the extension of the last date on its official website. RRB Recruitment 2018 Konkan Railways Last Date Extended
According to the Konkan Railway Recruitment Control Board Employment Notification No.CO/P-R/05/2018, the last date for the application process for the various vacancies in Konkan Railways has been extended from 21st June to 6th July. Also, the Konkan RRB has made some few changes in the notification regarding the age limit and relaxation. In the Serial No 5 of the RRB Official notification, the age limit is changed to 18 to 33 years from 18 to 31 years. The notification is issued by the Konkan Railways on its website www.konkanrailway.com on 1st June 2018.
The online application process for the RRB Recruitment 2018 (Railway Recruitment Board) in Konkan Railways started on 22nd May. All candidates who are eligible for the various RRB Group D posts in Konkan Railways can apply online on the official website. The last date for the online application is now 6th July 2018. The first stage RRB CBT Exam Group D posts in Konkan Railways is tentatively scheduled to be held in the month of August.
RRB Recruitment 2018 – Important Details
Vacancies: According to the official notification of Railway Recruitment Board, there are 100 vacancies for the Group D posts in Konkan Railways. These vacancies are not for every candidate. These vacancies in Railways are for eligible land loser candidates. Candidates whose land has been acquired by the Konkan railway Project. The vacancies in RRB are for the post of Track Man, A pman, Khalasi-Electrical, Khalasi S&T, Khalasi-Mechanical.
Selection Process: The minimum education qualification for all RRB Group D posts in Konkan Railways is 10th Pass from a recognized board. Candidates will be selected on the basis of CBT exam. Railway Recruitment Board will conduct the CBT (Computer Based Test) for the selection of the candidates. There will be negative marking for every wrong answer.
There will be total 100 questions in CBT exam of RRB Group D posts and candidates will get 90 minutes to attempt the paper. The minimum qualifying marks for the General Category candidate is 40%, OBC-NCL/SC/ST is 30% and PWD (UR-38% and Other-28%).
