Sachin Tendulkar is the new owner of BluO. The God of Cricket Sachin Tendulkar is all set to bowl you over again with PVR BluO now. Yes, as per reports Smaaash Entertainment, the sports-based entertainment company which is co-owned by Sachin Tendulkar and Shripal Morakhia, is all set to acquire bluO entertainment for Rs 86 crore.
Company, co-owned by Sachin Tendulkar to acquire BluO
The sports-based entertainment company Smaaash Entertainment, which is co-owned by Sachin Tendulkar has entered into a definitive agreement with leading multiplex operator PVR and Major Cineplex Group of Thailand. Multiplex operator PVR owns 51 per cent in the BluO joint venture, whereas the rest of the shares are owned by Thailand’s Major Cineplex Group. Smaaash Entertainment has acquired 100 per cent stake in bluO entertainment. This acquisition has been completed through a all-cash deal.
All-cash deal sealed
It was reported that Major Cineplex Group and India’s biggest movie exhibitor – PVR Ltd. have agreed to sell their bowling joint venture bluO entertainment to Smaaash Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. The sports-based entertainment company Smaaash Entertainment, which is co-owned by master blaster Sachin Tendulkar has sealed the deal to buy bluO entertainment in an all-cash deal for Rs86 crore.

Smaaash Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. co-owned by little master Sachin Tendulkar, owns and operates sports-centric digital entertainment centres across different metro cities in India. Smaaash Entertainment Pvt. Ltd’s has its gaming arcades in Mumbai, Gurgaon, Hyderabad, Noida and Bengaluru that features cricket, racing, football, bowling and other sports and recreational activities in these centres. Besides offering a host of virtual games, Smaaash is also known for its arcades that feature paintball and go-karting as well.

Bowling arcade bluO’s outlets at some of the premium locations in the country coupled with infrastructure and succulent Food options and array of Beverages will be further strengthened by Smaaash’s leadership and innovation.
