Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) Gets a Price Cut in India, Check Latest Price and Specifications of Quad Camera Smartphone

Samsung has slashed the prices of its Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) smartphone second time this year. The first quad camera smartphone has received a price cut in the last month and now once again the price of the smartphone is slashed. Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) smartphone has four cameras at the back which includes the standard camera sensor, wide angle sensor, depth sensor, and a telephoto sensor.

According to the listing of the smartphone on the Samsung India Online store, the smartphone is priced at Rs 30990 for the 6GB RAM variant and Rs 33990 for the 8GB RAM variant. Earlier the price of the 6GB RAM variant was Rs 33990 while the 8GB RAM variant was retailing at 36990.

In the month of January, Samsung slashed the price of the 6GB RAM variant of the Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) to Rs 33990 from Rs 36990. Samsung has recently launched the Galaxy A9 Pro (2019) and this continues price cut hints towards the launch of the phone in India.

Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) Specifications

Coming to the specifications of the Galaxy A9 (2018), the phone bears a 6.3-inches display with the screen resolution of 1080×2220 pixels. The smartphone comes with Infinity Display with the Super AMOLED panel. The aspect ratio of the display is 19.5:9 and it runs on Android Oreo operating system with Samsung Experience UX. The smartphone has an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC.

There is a 6GB RAM and 8GB RAM on the phone which is paired with the 128GB internal storage. The storage of the phone is expandable via the use of a microSD card. The smartphone has a 3800mAH battery. The power button and the volume button of the phone are present on the right side. The fingerprint sensor is on the back.

Coming to the camera specifications of the phone, Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) has a four-camera at the back and this is the biggest and main highlight of the phone. The phone’s rear camera comes with the 24MP primary sensor with f/1.7 aperture, 10MP telephoto sensor, 8MP ultra wide sensor, and a 5MP depth sensor. On the front, there is a 24MP camera for selfies and video calling.
