The smartphone giant Samsung has dropped the prices of some of its mobile phones in India. The North Korean electrical goods brand, Samsung has cut down the price of its budget smartphones in India which includes the model Galaxy J7 Prime and Galaxy J5 Prime. Both the smartphones were launched as budget models last year in the month of September. The price of Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime has been dropped by Rs 3890 while the price of the Galaxy J5 Prime has been slashed by Rs 1800.
Samsung phones price cut in India
Talking about the Samsung phones price cut in India, the Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime and Samsung J5 Prime are the two budget smartphones by Samsung whose price has been dropped in India. In terms of specifications, the Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime features a 5.5-inch screen with full HD display.
The handset of Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime is powered by 1.6GHz octa-core processor and 1080×1920 pixel resolution secured with Corning Gorilla Glass 4. The smartphone comes with 3GB of RAM along with 16GB internal storage that can be expanded upto 256 GB via a microSD card. This Samsung mobile phone is supported by a dual-sim slot and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. After the price cut down in India, Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime is still available in two colours which is Black and Gold.
Price drop of Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime & Galaxy J5 Prime
Apart from the features mentioned above, Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime sports a rear camera of 13MP along with LED flash. To give you the perfect selfie shots, the Samsung Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime mobile phone comes with the 8MP front camera. The brand hasn’t cut down the features of the mobile phone handset post the drop in its price. With a fingerprint sensor, Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime houses a 3300mAh battery and offers mobile phone connectivity including LTE, 4G, 3G, Bluetooth, GPS, Wi-Fi, OTG and USB. The price of the Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime has been brought down to Rs 14900 from Rs 18790 in India.
However, on the other hand, The Samsung Galaxy J5 Prime, whose price is also cut down in India also features a 5-inch screen with HD display of 720×1280 pixels. The handset houses a battery of 2400mAh and runs on a quad-core processor. The smartphone of Samsung Galaxy J5 Prime comes with 2GB RAM coupled with internal storage of 16GB which expandable up to 256 GB via microSD card. The phone comes with a fingerprint sensor and a dual-sim slot. Meanwhile, the Galaxy J5 Prime that was earlier selling at Rs 12,990 will now be sold at the price cut of Rs 11,190.
