Samsung is all set to rock the festive season of India by launching yet another device, the Galaxy Tab A. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A is available to buy via the Samsung Retail Stores or at the online websites. The Galaxy Tab A is available to the customers in Black and Gold color variants. The handset was recently launched in Vietnam last month as the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.0.
The South Korean phone maker giant has also included a 4G Reliance Jio offer with its product by which one will get 180 GB of free data over a span of one year. Samsung has also included the one-time screen replacement offer for those who buy the tablet before November 9.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab A comes with the retro Samsung design with a metal-clad body with smooth edges. It is also the company’s first tablet to feature quad-stereo speakers tuned by AKG by HARMAN. Samsung claims that the Samsung Galaxy Tab A supports battery life for up to 14 hours of playback, a brighter display than the previous one and has Bixby led Intuitive Entertainment.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A runs on the Android 7.1 Nougat out of the box with a single Nano-sim car support. The new tablet by Samsung includes dual-band (2.4GHz, 5GHz) Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, GPS/ A-GPS, Bluetooth v4.2, Micro-USB as the major connectivity options.
Powered by 5000 mAh battery, the tablet runs on 1.4GHz quad-core Snapdragon 425 SoC. The tablet supports an 8-inch WXGA screen with the 1280×800 pixel resolution. With 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of inbuilt storage, the device runs really well even in sophisticated conditions. Talking about the camera with the Galaxy Tab A, Samsung has installed an 8-megapixel rear camera with f/1.9 aperture and LED flash and a 5-megapixel camera at the back. It measures 212.1×124.1×8.9mm and weighs 364 grams.
Samsung has claimed that the display can tackle 480 nits of brightness and the battery can boost the device for 14 hours. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A is priced at Rs. 17,990 in the Indian market and Samsung India is already in action to flood the market with the newly launched tablet.
