According to reports, Skoda dealerships have already started taking bookings for the Skoda Kodiaq SUV and it is going to be launched in India soon.

Skoda Kodiaq SUV is going to be Skoda’s first full-size SUV in India. It was reported that the Skoda Kodiaq SUV will be Skoda’s first 7-seater SUV in India. The 7-seater Skoda Kodiaq SUV will take on the market leaders in the segment including Ford Endeavour, Toyota Fortuner and even the Volkswagen Tiguan.
The sturdy engine for India
The new Skoda Kodiaq SUV will be available in both petrol and diesel engine option. The petrol engine option from Skoda in the new Skoda Kodiaq SUV will give the customers more variants to choose from. It was reported that the petrol, as well as the diesel version of the Skoda Kodiaq SUV, will be only available in a 7-speed DSG (Direct-shift gearbox) option and there would be no manual transmission option available in the Skoda Kodiaq SUV. While the 4-cylinder, 2-litre turbocharged petrol engine in Skoda Kodiaq SUV churns out 177 bhp and a peak torque of 320 Nm, the 2-litre turbocharged diesel engine with 4-cylinder will pump 147 bhp of max power and 340 Nm of max torque to the machine.
