SSC CGLE 2017 revised vacancy list has been released online. Post the declaration of SSC CGLE 2017 result which was declared on October 30, 2017, the vacancy update for the same for various posts under various departments to be recruited by SSC via CGLE 2017 was released online. Candidates who have already cracked the SSC CGLE 2017 Tier-I exam and are preparing for the Tier-II online exam scheduled from January 18, 2018 to January 21, 2018 can now check the revised & updated number of vacancies which have now been doubled here.

Releasing an updated vacancy list for the year 2017 to be filled via the SSC CGLE 2017 exam, aspirants can now check the revised list of vacancies under various departments for various categories here online. Earlier, the number of vacant posts in the SSC CGLE 2017 was 4733 as listed under various departments.
Some departments which had not released their vacancy list for the SSC CGLE 2017 now have updated the number of vacant seats in their departments online which has phenomenally shot up the number of posts by almost doubling them to a current value of 8089 vacant posts to be filled & recruited via the ‘Combined Graduate Level 2017 examination’ conducted by the Staff Selection Commission online every year.

The category-wise list for vacant posts for the SSC CGL 2017 examination whose Tier-I was held in the month of August 2017 has now been updated for the candidates who have cracked the SSC CGLE Tier-I exam 2017. The dates for the SSC CGL Tier-II exam has been extended now to January 18, 2018 online.
Also, updated revised vacancy list for various departments recruiting via the CGL online exam. There are all in all 4167 general category posts available to be filled with 2068 OBC, 1212 SC and 642 ST making a total of 8089 posts available to be filled via the SSC CGL 2017 exam this year.
The vacancy list has been updated by only a few departments which includes Auditor (C & AG), Accountant & Junior Accountant under Ministry of Post, Senior Secretariat Assistant, Tax Assistants & Central Bureau of Narcotics only. Three departments of Auditor & Junior Accountants have not released any vacancy list yet therefore, it is expected that more than 8089 posts are expected to be released to be filled via the SSC CGL 2017 exam.
