SSC CGL 2017 Tier-I Exam result chaos that students encountered while appealing for normalisation of scores while the declaration of the SSC CGL 2017 Tier-I Exam result has the latest update on the issue. Staff Selection Commission being the conducting authority of the prestigious Combined Graduate Level Examination every year is all set to declare the result of the recently held SSC CGL 2017 Tier-I Exam in the month of August 2017 on the pre-finalised result declaration date of October 31, 2017.

Here’s the update on the recent appeal of students based on the exam analysis demanding equalisation of the result of SSC CGL 2017 Tier-I Exam by calculation of normalised score or Z-score in the exam.

The Central Administrative Tribunal, New Delhi had issued an order sheet wherein it has been left at the discretion of the SSC to amend its evaluation system adopted in finalising the marks of candidates scored in the SSC CGL 2017 Tier-I Exam. The Commission on the basis of this order sheet shall have to revert to the authorities wherein the impending decision of finalising the judgement criteria of evaluating the test papers of the candidates who took the SSC CGL 2017 Tier-I Exam in August in multiple shifts has to be told to the authorities. Staff Selection Commission has to openly declare and reveal its marking scheme if or not they are introducing the moderation policy of calculating the normalised score in marking the SSC CGL 2017 Tier-I Exam this year.

The deadline to revert with the decision granted to the SSC is October 12, 2017 wherein the adopted methodology to evaluate candidates’ test papers of SSC CGL 2017 Tier-I Exam shall be carried forward for the upcoming tests conducted by the authorities. So, for all those aspirants who had doubts pertaining to whether the calculation of score shall be absolute or normalised, the impending decision shall be out soon.
