The dates of the SSC CGL 2017 (Tier-II) Exam which was earlier postponed from November 30, 2017 to December 21, 2017 has been now extended again. Giving a months’ time gap of delaying the SSC CGL 2017 (Tier-II) Exam schedule, the Commission has postponed the SSC CGL 2017 (Tier-II) Exam again. Staff Selection Commission in its official update has not only revealed the extension of the SSC CGL 2017 (Tier-II) Exam schedule but also has released fresh dates of holding the Tier-2 test in an online mode for all the eligible candidates.
Aspirants of the SSC CGL 2017 (Tier-II) Exam who have been shortlisted via the merit list generated by the Commission online on the basis of the SSC CGL 2017 (Tier-I) Examination held in August this year are iterated to check the updates and plan their strategies of preparation of the SSC CGL 2017 (Tier-II) Exam again.
The SSC CGL 2017 (Tier-II) Exam shall now be held in January 2018 now. The three day event of holding the SSC CGL 2017 (Tier-II) Exam by the Commission, the SSC CGL 2017 (Tier-II) Exam shall commence from January 18, 2018 till January 21, 2018 in an online mode now as per the official update.
SSC CGL 2017 (Tier-II) Exam & Its Repercussions | Know Major Changes
The Computer-based written exam or the online test as a conducting mode of the SSC CGL 2017 (Tier-II) Exam by the authorities has now been re-scheduled for the second time. The major changes in the SSC CGL 2017 (Tier-II) Exam include now release of the call letter or the admit cards of the test for the eligible candidates online. The subsequent delay in the SSC CGL 2017 (Tier-II) Exam might have repercussions on the exam dates of Tier-3 and Tier-4 of the SSC CGLE 2017. Also, the initial exam schedule of the SSC CGLE Tier-II test 2017 was a four day event commencing from December 21, 2017 which has now been reduced by a day to become a 3-day event. The reduced duration of the SSC CGL 2017 (Tier-II) Exam with its delay that has been extended twice by one month each has led to an overall delay by 2 months in the SSC CGL 2017 (Tier-II) Exam.
This means, even if subsequent delays in upcoming Tiers of the SSC CGL 2017 exam do not occur, the result of the SSC CGL 2017 exam & the appointment of the candidates has already been delayed too by the same amount. All we hope and pray is, no further delay is caused in conducting the tiers of SSC CGL 2017 exam as this might lead to aspirants losing their enthusiasm resulting in poor performance in the SSC CGL 2017 (Tier-II) Exam.
