SSC CGL 2018 Tier 1 Exam Admit Cards For Group B & Group C Posts Likely to be Out in August

SSC CGL 2018 Exam: Staff Selection Commission will soon release the admit cards for the SSC Combined Graduate Level Exam 2018.  Earlier the admit cards for the CGL 2018 exam was scheduled to be released this week. But Staff Selection postponed the exam. All the candidates who have applied for the SSC CGL 2018 Exam are advised to check the SSC website regularly for more details and updates.

SSC CGL 2018 Exam Admit Cards Expected to be Out Next Month

According to the official notification released by SSC in the month of May, the SSC Combined Graduate Level Exam 2018 Tier 1 will begin on 25th July.  But this month SSC released the revised exam calendar for year 2018 and in that calendar, it was clearly mentioned that exam dates for the CGL Tier 1 will be notified later on. Usually, the Staff Selection Commission released the admit cards for the exam 8-10 days before the exam date.

Lakhs of candidates have applied for the CGL 2018 exam this year.  Candidates will be selected for Group B and Group C posts on the basis of performance in all Tiers. It is expected that the admit cards for the SSC Combined Graduate Level Exam will be out next month and the exam will also be held next month. As of now, there is no official notification released by the Staff Selection Commission regarding the exam date for CGL Tier 1 2018.

SSC Combined Graduate Level Exam 2018 Details

SSC Combined Graduate Level exam is conducted every year by the Staff Selection Commission to fill various Group B and Group C posts in various departments and ministries. This year SSC released the official notification in May and application process for the same started on the same date. The application process closed on 4th June 2018. Now candidates who have applied for the exam are waiting for the admit cards for the CGL exam.

SSC Combined Graduate Level Exam is conducted by SSC in 4 different Tiers – Tier 1, Tier 2, Tier 3 and Tier 4. The first two Tiers of SSC CGL exam are Computer Based Exam. The candidates who will clear the Tier 1 of the CGL 2018 exam will go for the second Tier. The Third Tier of the SSC CGL exam is a descriptive paper. This will be held next year.

The candidates who will clear the second Tier of the CGL exam will appear in Tier 3. And at last, there is a Computer Proficiency test, Skill test and Document verification. The SSC CGL Tier 1 will have 100 questions of 200 marks. These questions in Tier 1 of CGL exam will be from General Intelligence, General Awareness, Aptitude and English. Each part will have 25 questions of 50 marks. Candidates appearing in the SSC Combined Graduate Level Exam Tier 1 will get 60 minutes to attempt the paper.
