SSC CGL 2017 Tier I Examination Date has been extended as per the recent notification released by SSC online. Releasing an official notification pertaining to the most sought after ‘Combined Graduate Level Examination’ 2017 whose Tier I conducted by SSC was scheduled to be held in August 2017 this year. The latest amendment made states the extension in the scheduled exam date of SSC CGL 2017 Tier 1 Exam this year. Terming it as an ‘Important Notice’, the update was made by SSC w.r.t CGLE 2017 on July 19, 2017.

Here is the gist of latest update via the Important Notice as released for SSC CGL 2017 Tier 1 Examination.
- Partial modification introduced in SSC CGL Tier 1 Exam Dates of August 2017
- Earlier scheduled dates of SSC CGLE 2017 was from Aug 1, 2017 to Aug 20, 2017
- The latest amendment made scheduled the exam from Aug 5, 2017 to Aug 24, 2017 this year
- Furthermore, there are certain dates wherein the SCS CGLE 2017 would not be scheduled
- SSC CGLE Tier 1 exam 2017 would not be scheduled on August 7, 13, 14 and 15th this year
- The amendment has been introduced to the previous notification by SSC on May 16, 2017
SSC CGL 2017 Tier I Examination
Staff Selection Commission conducts the ‘Combined Graduate Level Examination’ every year in three tiers. Conducting SSC CGLE 2017 Tier I examination in August this year, Tier II of the same exam would be held by SSC for the ones who crack the Preliminary Tier 1 exam of CGLE by the end of this year.
Furthermore, the third level of the examination of SSC CGL 2017 is conducted till 2018 to finally shortlist the well-deserved candidates who qualify all the three levels of the examination. The recruitment examination by SSC is conducted to provide employment opportunities to the graduates into esteemed governmental departments at prestigious posts. More than 30.28 lac candidates this year have applied for the SSC CGL 2017 examination which has increased the competition to great heights.
The E-admit cards for the Tier 1 level of SSC CGLE 2017 exam would be made available by the Commission soon which would be notified at the official website of the SSC at ssc.nic.in. Candidates are requested to keep a tab on the official notifications and amendments as released by SSC online.
