SSC GD Constable Recruitment: Staff Selection Commission of India has formally released a notice to inform the candidates that Examination of Constable GD in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF’S), NIA & SSF and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles (AR) which was scheduled on 18 February 2019 and 19 February 2019 at Jammu, Srinagar, and Samba is delayed due to hectic conditions of Jammu and Kashmir after Pulwama attack.

SSC GD Constable Recruitment Exam 2018
SSC GD Constable Recruitment Exam 2018 notice was published on 21 July 2018 by Staff Selection Commission. The date of online registration for this exam was also opened from 21 February 2018 and was closed on 20 August 2018. The total number of vacancies for Constable (GD) Examination in CAPFs were 54,953. Out of the 47307 vacancies were for male’s and 7646 vacancies were for females.
For male’s total number of vacancies for the following posts were: BSF- 14436, CISF-180, CRPF-19972, SSB-6521, ITBP-3507, AR-2311, NIA- 8, SSF-372 which leads to complete the total number of 47307 vacancies for males.
For females, a total number of vacancies for the following posts were: BSF-2548, CISF-20, CRPF-1594, SSB-2025, ITBP-619, AR-765, NIA-0, SSF-75 which leads to complete the total of 7646.
Candidates who have filled this Examination form has to qualify a Computer-based examination in which there would be 100 objective type questions carrying 100 marks with the following composition of General intelligence and reasoning: 25, General knowledge & awareness: 25, English/Hindi: 25 and Elementary mathematics: 25.
