SSC JE Exam 2018 Application Process Over, Pay Application Fee By 28th February

SSC JE Exam 2018: Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has closed the online application form filling process for the SSC Junior Engineer Exam 2018. The link to fill the application form is now deactivated. The candidates who have filled the application form still pay the application fee online and offline. All the candidates who have filled the application form and haven’t paid the application fee yet are advised to pay the application fee on or before the last date.

SSC JE Exam 2018 – Last Date To Pay Application Fee is 28th February

As the application form filling process is closed but the candidates can still pay the application fee online and offline. The last date to pay the application fee via online mode is 27th February 2019 while the last date to pay the application fee offline is 28th January 2019 during the Bank Hours. The application fee is Rs 100.

The candidates who opted to pay the application fee via Challan must generate the Challan on or before the 27th February 2019. To recall, the Staff Selection Commission released the official notification for the SSC JE Exam 2019 on 1st February 2019 and also started the procedure of filling the application form on the same date.

SSC JE Exam 2018 – Other Details

In the last week, the Staff Selection Commission released tentative vacancy details for the Junior Engineer posts. As per the notice released by the SSC, there are total 1601 tentative vacancies for the post of Junior Engineer. These vacancies are divided as category wise and post wise in various departments. Overall, there are total 240 vacancies for SC category, 129 vacancies for the ST category, 423 vacancies for the OBC category and 809 vacancies for the General Category.

The candidates will be selected for the posts on the basis of the Written Examination followed by Interview. Paper 1 for the SSC JE Exam will be held from 23rd September 2019 to 27th September 2019 while Paper 2 will be held on 29th December 2019. Paper 1 of the SSC JE Exam will be a Computer Based Test and will have objective type questions. Paper 2 will be a descriptive paper.
