On 22nd October, Staff Selection Commission released the notification for its two exams i.e SSC JHT Exam 2018 and SSC Stenographer Exam For Grade C and D. The notification is available on the official website of SSC and candidates preparing for the exam can check all the details there. SSC Stenographer Exam 2018 & SSC JHT Exam 2018 Details
Vacancies: Staff Selection Commission has released the notification for the JHT Exam 2018 and Steno Exam 2018 but in the notification, there are no details regarding the vacancies. SSC has said in the notification that the vacancies for the JHT, SHT and other posts and SSC Stenographer Grade C posts and Grade D posts will be notified later on, on the official website.
Last Date: As per the official notification, Staff Selection Commission has started the process of filling the application form for the JHT Exam 2018 and the Stenographer exam 2018. The process of filling the application form has started from 22nd October onwards and the last date to fill the application form is 19th November 2018. Between 22nd October and 19th November candidates can fill the application form online on the SSC website.
Application Fee: Staff Selection Commission has set Rs 100 as application fee for the candidates belonging to General and OBC Category. For the other category candidates including the female candidates, there is no application fee. The last date to make the payment of application fee via online mode is 21st November 2018 and the last date to pay the application fee via offline mode is 26th November 2018.
Exam Dates: As per the official notification released by Staff Selection Commission, the SSC JHT Exam 2018 Exam dates is 12th January 2019. This will be a Computer Based Examination. The date for the Descriptive Paper will be announced later on. The exam for the SSC Stenographer Grade C and D will be conducted from 1st Feb to 6th February 2019.
Age Limit: For the SSC JHT Exam 2018, the maximum age limit to apply online is 30 years. There is also age relaxation in the upper age limit for the SC/St category, OBC category, and PWD Category. The details can be checked in the official notification. For the SSC Stenographer Exam 2018, the minimum age limit is 18 years and the maximum is 30 years for Grade C and 18 years minimum and 27 years maximum for Grade D. There is also an age relaxation in the upper age for the reserved categories.
