Maruti Suzuki India is all set for the next big launch in the country. As per reports, Maruti Suzuki India is going to launch the S-Cross facelift this festive season. It is expected that Maruti Suzuki S-Cross facelift will go on sale in India around Diwali. Loaded with several cosmetic changes including the styling and safety features, the Maruti Suzuki S-Cross facelift will also get a new design.
A year after the public debut
After the global public debut last year at the Paris Motor Show, the Maruti Suzuki S-Cross facelift is one of the most anticipated cars in India. Maruti Suzuki S-Cross 2017 – under the hood
As per reports, there are not much changes in the Maruti Suzuki S-Cross under the hood. The upcoming Maruti Suzuki S-Cross facelift will come with the same 1.3-litre DDiS and 1.6-litre DDiS engines. While the 1.3-litre DDiS engine makes 89 bhp and develops 200 Nm of peak torque, the 1.6-litre DDiS churns out 118 bhp and peak torque of 320 Nm.
There are rumours that Maruti Suzuki may introduce an automatic variant with the facelifted Maruti Suzuki S-Cross but there is no official statement on the same. Amidst speculations, it appears that the Maruti Suzuki S-Cross facelift will continue with a 5-speed manual gearbox mated with 1.3-litre variant and a 6-speed manual unit mated with the 1.6-litre engine.
Maruti Suzuki S-Cross facelift safety
Facelifted Maruti Suzuki S-Cross will come loaded with various safety features. Besides dual airbags, Maruti Suzuki S-Cross facelift will also offer ABS with EBD and ISOFIX child seat mounts. These features will come as standard across all the Maruti Suzuki S-Cross facelift variants. The crossover will also have the option of rear parking sensor and rear camera.

If rumors are to believed, Maruti Suzuki will commence pre-bookings for the facelifted S-Cross from September. Though there are no official reports on either the pre-booking or the launch date yet it is being said that the Maruti Suzuki might launch the S-Cross facelift around Diwali.

Following the GST rollout, the actual price of the Maruti Suzuki S-Cross facelift can be confirmed on the launch but as a lot of new and premium features, the car is expected to come with a slightly increased price tag.
