UPSC releases e-admit cards & important instructions for 'Combined Defence Services (I) Exam' 2018 at upsc.gov.in online.

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC ) CDS 1 Examination is scheduled to be held on February 4, 2018 for the candidates who had applied for the ‘Combined Defence Services’ exam this year online. Aspirants of the UPSC CDS (1) Exam are iterated about the examination schedule along with an official notification releasing the e-admit cards available for download on the official UPSC website at upsc.gov.in online. Candidates are requested to carefully read all the important instructions before appearing for the UPSC CDS (1) Exam in February 2018 which will be conducted across 41 exam centres in various cities at a pan India level on Sunday. The e-admit cards cum call letters for the upcoming UPSC CDS (1) Exam have been uploaded on the Commission’s website by the authorities online for the candidates to download. Candidates are iterated to take a hard copy print of the e-admit cards before appearing for the Combined Defence Services (I) exam 2018 this year in February. The official UPSC notification released on January 10, 2018, a month prior to holding the CDS (1) Exam declared the availability of downloading link being activated from the date of release of notice till the exam date i.e. Feb 4th.

The admit cards for the CDS exam clearly depict the name, registration number, photograph, signature and reporting date, time and venue for the test. Aspirants are iterated to follow simple steps to download their UPSC CDS (I) Exam call letters from the aforementioned official website by clicking on the ‘admit card’ link available on the bottom right of the home page of the Commission’s website online.

The aspirants of the famous UPSC CDS (I) Exam which is conducted to recruit candidates into the defence forces of our nation namely, Army, Navy and Air Force are notified about the important instructions to be followed in order to successfully appear for the test. Candidates shall have to carry the hard copy as the printed format of the e-admit cards after downloading to the exam centre and ensure that they reach prior to the reporting time. Candidates shall also ensure the safe custody of their admit cards and proper clear picture of scanned photograph on it which shall be accompanied by a necessary supporting document as ID proof for authentication purposes in the UPSC CDS (I) Exam centre.

Mobile phones and electronic items are strictly banned inside the exam premises and candidates are prohibited to bring in any such item as custodial issues rest with the candidate itself. Also, candidates are iterated to bring a BLACK BALL POINT PEN to the exam hall as no evaluation shall be done for answers marked with other coloured pen in the UPSC CDS (I) Exam.

Defiance of compliance to any of the aforementioned Union Public Service Commission norms for the code of conduct of the Combined Defence Services Exam shall make the candidature of the aspirant liable for rejection.
