UPSC CDS Exam 2019: The Union Public Service Commission will close the application process for the Combined Defence Services Examination next week. The last date to fill the application form for the CDS 2019 Exam I is 26th November 2018. After the last date, the link to apply online will be deactivated. So, the candidates who haven’t applied yet are advised that they should fill their application form on or before the last date.
UPSC CDS Exam Details and Application Procedure
Last month, the Union Public Service Commission released the notification for the UPSC CDS Exam I 2019 on the official website. The procedure of filling the application form started from 31st October 2018 on the UPSC website. Now, less than 5 days have left to fill the application form for the exam. Candidates can submit the application form online on the official website till 26th November 2018.
Candidates can fill the form for the Combined Defence Services Examination I 2019 on the website www.upsconline.nic.in. Open this website and then click on the first link. On the next page click on Part 1 Registration and fill the application form. After filling the application form submit it then proceed to the Part 2.
The application form for the CDS exam can be filled till 6 pm on 26th November 2018. In any case, if the candidates want to withdraw the application form then he/she can withdraw the application form for CDS Exam 2019 in between 3rd December 2018 to 10th December 2018 till 6 pm. As per the notification, there are total 417 vacancies in IMA, INA, IFA and OTA.
For the IMA, INA and OTA, candidates must have passed the degree from a recognized University. For the Air Force Academy, candidates need a degree from a recognized university with Physica and Mathematics in 12th Class or a degree in Bachelor in Engineering. The candidates applying for the CDS Exam will have to pay Rs 200 as application fee. Only candidates of General and OBC category need to pay the application fee. Other category candidates and female candidates are exempted from application fee. Candidates are advised to read the notification for any other details.
