The UPSC ESE/IES 2018 Exam notification is finally out. The notification released by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) which has been released online contains all the important details and instructions which should necessarily be abided by any candidate appearing for the UPSC ESE/IES 2018 Exam. The exam centre allotted to any candidate appearing for the UPSC ESE/IES 2018 Exam preliminary stage is not the same allotted to him/her in the UPSC ESE 2018 Mains Examination. As mentioned earlier as well, the exam centres for the Preliminary as well as the Mains UPSC ESE/IES 2018 Exam are different. The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) retains the very right to allow as well as cancel the exam centres which are allotted to the students appearing for the UPSC ESE/IES 2018 Exam. All the applicants who wish to give the UPSC ESE 2018 Exam a try, should fill the form as soon as possible to get their nearest exam centre for their personal convenience. This is because the exam centres for the UPES ESE 2018 Exam are allotted on the first-apply-first-allot basis. Thus, the candidate who fills the UPSC ESE/IES 2018 Exam first tends to get an exam centre near to his/her preferred choice.
The official pdf notification which has been released contains the list of the exam centres for the Engineering Services distributed in two parts. The first tabular representation contains exam centres for the Preliminary UPSC ESE 2018 Exam and the following representation is in respect to the Mains UPSC ESE 2018 Exam. There are over 42 centres all over the country where the Preliminary UPSC ESE 2018 Exam will be conducted. The candidates who will clear the Preliminary stage of the UPSE ESE/IES 2018 Exam will only be allowed to sit for the Mains stage of the UPSC ESE 2018 Exam. Over 24 centres are allotted for the UPSC ESE/IES 2018 Exam. Whereas, the candidates should note that any kind of change in the exam centres allotted for the UPSC ESE 2018 Exam shall not be entertained by the Commission.
