UPSC IFS (Mains) Exam 2017 Scheduled for December | Check Dates, Schedule & Important Instructions

UPSC IFS (Mains) Exam 2017 is all set to be conducted by the end of the year, in the month of December 2017. A notification in context to the same has been released with a view to updating the students about the proper schedule of the UPSC IFS (Mains) Exam 2017 along with the timings and sessions.

The UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) IFS (Indian Forest Service) (Mains) Exam 2017 is conducted in two major categories namely the Civil Services Examination (Preliminary) and the IFS that is the Indian Forest Service Examination (IFS) (Main). A candidate cannot directly appear for the UPSC IFS (Mains) Exam 2017 without clearing the Preliminary Exam.

UPSC IFS (Mains) Exam 2017 | Check For Released Schedule 

The candidates who have cleared the first part of the exam that is the Civil Services Examination (Preliminary) will only be allowed to attempt the second part of the exam with is UPSC IFS (Mains) Exam 2017. The candidates who have qualified to sit for the examination should be well aware with the schedule released for the UPSC IFS (Mains) Exam 2017 officially to avoid last minute confusion and chaos.

The exams for different subjects will be conducted as per the particular date and time slot assigned to each subject. The schedule for the conduction of the exam has been split into two different sessions for the convenience of the candidate appearing for the UPSC IFS(Mains) Exam 2017. Each of the session is of 3 hours in total. One session is in the morning from 9 am to 12 noon and the second session is in the afternoon beginning from 2 pm till 5 pm.

Important Dates Out For UPSC IFS (Mains) Exam 2017 

As per the notification released, the UPSC IFS (Mains) Exam 2017 will start from 3rd December’ 2017 that is Sunday and will be stretched for a period of 10 days that is until Wednesday, 13th December’ 2017. In between, no exam will be conducted on 4th December’ 2017 that is Monday.

The UPSC IFS (Mains) Exam 2017 is conducted in two different sessions and the subject papers are fully distributed in both the time slots. The students are expected to appear in the respective day and slot depending upon the subject which they have chosen to appear for in the UPSC IFS (Mains) Exam 2017.
