UPSC NDA 1 Exam 2018 – Important Dates
The online application for the National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Exam I, 2018 has begun from 15th January. All candidates who want to apply can now apply online on the official website of UPSC. The official website to apply online for the NDA 1 exam 2018 is upsconline.nic.in. The last date to submit online applications for the NDA 1 exam 2018 is 5 February 2018. The last date to fill the Part 2 of the NDA 1 exam registration id 5 February 2018. The exam date of the NDA 1 exam is 22 April 2018(tentative).
How To Apply
To apply o line for the NDA 1 exam 2018, candidates first have to visit the website upsconline.nic.in. After that, there will be four options or menu. Move to “Online Application for Various Examination of UPSC“. After clicking this a new window will open in front of you. Now Click on the Part 1 Registration. Read all instructions to fill the online application form. Now Fill all the details and proceed further.
Eligibility
Before applying online for the NDA 1 Exam 2018, all candidates must ensure that they fulfill all the required conditions and criteria for the exam. For this just read the official notification of UPSC for NDA 1 exam 2018.
Education Qualifications – For the Army Wing in National Defence Academy the candidates must have passed the 12th class from a recognized Board or University. For Air Force and Naval Wings of NDA and for the 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme candidates must have passed the 12th class with Physics and Mathematics subjects by a State Education Board or a University.
Vacancies
There are approximate 415 vacancies. For National Defence Academy there are total 360 vacancies which are further divided as 208 for the Army, 60 for Navy and 92 for Air Force. There are 55 vacancies for the Naval Academy (10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme). These vacancies can be changed depending on the availability.
UPSC NDA 1 Exam 2018 – Application Fee & Age Limit
The application fee for the NDA 1 Exam 2018 is Rs.100 for all General and OBC category candidates. There is no application fee for all SC and ST category candidates. Candidates can pay the online application fees via online mode (credit card, Debit card or by net banking). Pay by Cash Mode is also there. All candidates who are born not earlier than 2nd July 1999 and not after that 1st July 2002 can apply for the UPSC NDA Exam 1 2018.
