UPSC to Release NDA 2018 Notification on January 10 | Check NDA 2018 Eligibility and Dates

The Union Public Service Commission will release the official notification of the National Defence Academy (NDA) and Naval Academy (NA). UPSC will release the NDA 2018 notification on its official website upsc.gov.in. The NDA and NA examination is conducted by the UPSC twice a year for the selection of candidates for further selection rounds in the NDA and NA admission process.

NDA aspirants have been eagerly waiting for the official notification of NDA and NA exam. Class XII students who want to join the Army, Navy of Air Force can apply for the NDA and NA 2018 examination. Candidates can find the NDA notification on the official website of UPSC from January 10. All the details like application procedure, eligibility criteria, exam pattern, important dates and other details will be given in the notification.

NDA Eligibility 2018

To apply for NDA 2018 exam, one should be a citizen of Indian or a subject of Bhutan or Nepal. Only the male candidates will be eligible to apply for NDA 2018. Also, candidates must have born between 2nd July 1999 and 1st July 2002. Regarding the educational qualification, applicants who have passed class 12 or equivalent examination are eligible to apply. Candidates appearing in class 12 examination in 2018 are also eligible to apply for NDA 2018.

NDA 2018 Important Dates

Every year UPSC conducts the NDA and NA examination for admission to Army, Navy and Air Force wings of the National Defence Academy. UPSC has scheduled the NDA 2018 examination on April 22 to be conducted in various cities across the country. The last date to apply for NDA and NA 2018 is February 5 which means candidates should apply before Feb 5. The Admit cards for NDA 2018 will be released by UPSC, one or two weeks before the examination and the results will be released in May.

Candidates who qualify the written test will be called for personal interview and medical examination for final selection. Candidates who get admission in the National Defence Academy are commissioned as officers in the relevant wings of defence services.
