UPSC NDA NA Exam (I) Official Notification Released By Union Public Service Commission, Apply Online On Or Before 4th February 2019

Union Public Service Commission has released the official notification regarding the UPSC NDA NA Exam (I) 2019 (National Defence Academy & Naval Academy). The official Notification was released on 9th January 2019 on the official website of UPSC. The interested candidates can check the details, eligibility criteria, application fee details in the official notification. The candidates can also apply online for the exam on the website of UPSC. Here are some of the important points regarding the NDA NA Exam 2019.

UPSC NDA NA Exam (I) 2019

As the online application form filling process for the National Defence Academy & Naval Academy examination has started, the candidates must ensure their eligibility criteria before applying online. The process of submission of application form has started on the official website on 9th January 2019. The link to fill the application form will remain open till the 4th February 2019.

The online form filling process will close at 6 pm on 4th February 2019 and after that, the application withdrawal process will begin. The withdrawal process for the application will begin from 8th February 2019 and will remain open till 6 pm on 14th February 2019. In between this period the candidates can withdraw the application form online.

According to the official notification released by the Union Public Service Commission, there are total 392 vacancies. These vacancies will be filled after the result of the examination. For the National Defence Academy, there are 342 vacancies (208 for Army, 42 for Navy and 92 for Air force Academy). For the Naval Academy (10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme), there are total 50 vacancies. These vacancies are provisional and may increase or decrease.

For the Army Wing in the NDA, the candidates must have passed the 12th class from a recognized board or University. For the Air Force, Naval Wings of NDA and 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at INA, the candidates must have passed the 12th class with Physics and Mathematics from a recognised Board or University. The candidates appearing in the 12th class can also fill the application form.

The application fee for the NDA NA Exam (I) 2019 is Rs 100. This is only for the candidates of General Category and OBC Category. All the remaining category candidates are exempted from paying the application fee. The application fee can be paid via online mode or via offline mode.
