The Union Public Services Commission (UPSC) Prelims 2018 official notification is likely to announce by evening today. The notification will be out online on the official website of the UPSC i.e upsc.gov.in for the preliminary examination of the Indian Civil Services 2018. Candidates who all are interested to sit for the UPSC preliminary exam will be able to apply online for the same once the registration is open.

Whenever the registration window for the UPSE prelims exam 2018 opens, the aspiring candidates are advised to read the application form carefully and go through the notification to know the eligibility, exam scheme and important dates related to the exam. The UPSC will issue an e-admission certificate for the candidate before then the commencement of the prelims exams. These e-admission certificates will be available online on the official website of the UPSC which can be easily downloaded by the candidates.

Following the past record, UPSC conducts exams for the Indian Civil Services every year to recruit officers for the Indian Foreign Service (IFS), Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Police Service (IPS) and others. This examination scheduled in two sessions which is preliminary, having only objective type questions and the mains, which includes the written subjective type questions followed by an interview. Those who will clear the preliminary round will be termed qualified to sit for the main examination. Candidates who will crack the UPSC mains exam 2018 will be offered with jobs for various services and posts of the Indian Civil Services. However, it is expected that the UPSC prelim exams 2018 will be conducted on June 3, 2018, and the last date to submit its application forms is likely to be June 3, 2018. The UPSC Mains Exam 2018 is also expected to be held later this year on September 28, 2018. The UPSC has not declared any date for the examination or the deadline of its application, but these above-mentioned dates are tentative and are presumed to be somewhere close to the final one as per the previous years’ examination calendar.
