Vodafone India has revised its plan 199 to match with the tariff plan of Reliance Jio, Airtel, and all other telecom operators. The 199 plan of Vodafone is the monthly plan and also an entry level plan of the company. This is not the first time that the company has revised its plan to compete with Jio & Airtel. Earlier, the telecom company revised the 348 monthly plan and started offering 2GB 4G data per day. The launch of Jio 199 plan has once again started the data war just before New Year 2018.
Vodafone 199 Plan – What All It Has
In the Vodafone 199 plan, the company is now offering unlimited calls. These unlimited calls in the pack also include all roaming calls. Under this plan, users will get 100 Free SMS Per Day. The 199 pack comes with 28GB free data and the daily limit of 1GB data. The pack is valid for 28 days. The new plan is the answer of Vodafone towards the Reliance Jio latest 199 plan.
Jio 199 Plan – New Year Special
To recall – Reliance Jio recently launched two new plans under the Happy New Year Offer 2018. The newly launched plans of Jio are worth Rs. 199 and Rs. 299. Both the plans are the monthly plan. In 199 plan of Jio, there is 1.2GB data limit, and in plan 299 there is a data limit of 2GB. Both the plans are valid for 28 days.
Jio vs Vodafone
If you compare the 199 plan of Vodafone with the Reliance Jio 199 plan, then you will definitely find a difference. The difference is that in Vodafone 199 plan there is a limitation on free calls. The daily limit on Free Calls is 250 minutes and the weekly limit on free calls is 1200 minutes. On the other hand, Jio is offering unlimited calls without any limit on both its new year plans. Another difference is the unlimited data usage after the daily limit. All plans of Jio comes with unlimited data usage after the daily data limit usage is over.
The new plan of the Telecom Operator Vodafone is valid in almost every circle in India. You can check it on My Vodafone mobile App. To continue doing good business, the company has also introduced a new plan of Rs. 229. This is an FRC and valid for new users only. This 229 plan of Vodafone offers same benefits as the 199 plan with an added advantage that users opting for Vodafone 229 plan will get 1GB 4G data per day, 100 Free SMS per day and Unlimited calls.
